7:00 p.m. @ Tannen's!
In his one and only appearance in New York City this year, Curtis Kam brings his most important lecture to Tannen's Magic; with a message that will inform and improve every trick and every performance you do.
In The End, performer, author, lecturer, creator, reviewer, consultant, script doctor, teacher Curtis Kam teaches you how to end a routine, how to end an act, how to figure out what the ending should be, and what to say and do in order to make that ending work for an audience.
As examples, he will perform optimal endings to ThreeFly, Jacob's Ladder, The Chinese Sticks, Balls Over The Head, Cylinder and Coins, Unshuffled, Charming Chinese Challenge, and more, as time allows. Most of these are tricks you already perform, so there's more performing advice, less technical explanation, and more time for magic. Although he's widely known for demanding coin magic, and there will be some of that, the effects shown and taught will span all levels of skill and experience.
